This is a fresh flower arrangement that was done by a florist. As to the tall glass vase, the hotel usually have these to loan to the wedding event. You can get the centerpieces or the Dj can award it to one of the guest to each table via a contest. The contest on who gets the wedding center piece depends on the DJ. Some dj's would make a big event for the centerpieces like having a person in each of the table donate a dollar. The dollar is passed around just like the musical chairs. The person who gets the dollar gets the dollar and the person who donated gets the centerpiece. Or the persons who got the dollar are invited to the dance floor and dance New York New York and they get the centerpice. Or it can be a simple : the person who donated the dollar gets the centerpiece. In one wedding that we attended where the centerpiece was expensive, the person who got the dollar was also asked to pay $10 to the bride and groom. (The winner was a little irky about this.) One slice is around $7. Wedding cakes are generally around $500 to $700 depending on size. If you are on a tight budget or prefer to spend the budget money on other things like a limo or live band, you can go for cupcakes. (Similar to the ones from Dunkin Donut).
