Mariachi Band in Weddings and Quinceaneras
These are videos of mariachi bands in a Quinceanera that roland video and photo covered. The two videos were taken in Worcester, Massachusetts in a Sweet 16. There actually two mariachi bands. One played in the church in the early afternoon and the other play in the evening at the reception. There are some variations in terms of musical instruments but they usually have either of the following.: a trumphet, a violin, a guitar, a bass guitar, a harp. I like the big bass guitar most as I see it only in mariachi bands. The singing is good especially Via Con Dios and other spanish songs that I like but do not know the title. I like the customes of mariachi bands starting from the pointed boots to the pants with metal on the sites to the big buckles. I like the big hats too as you don't see people wearing those here in the United States. It's a novelty.
Probably, only Mexicans have mariachi bands. We have covereed other Latin American weddings but it is only the Mexicans who has Mariachi bands. Viva.
